Treatment
£140 per session taking place online or at our clinic rooms
£180 per home visit session
Individual therapy sessions include a 50 minute session and are aimed at treating the presenting mental health need and based on the young person’s goals. The number of sessions required varies widely with some young people having only one or two sessions and others coming regularly for a year or more. Some children see us weekly but others fortnightly or less often, depending on the situation. Progress would be regularly monitored and discussed with the family at regular intervals. At times it can be helpful to have parents or families involved in the therapeutic sessions and this would be discussed with each family.
All resources required for sessions will be included in this price, for example any therapy sheets.
Please note: Payment is required in advance via bank transfer. 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations, otherwise the full session rate will be charged.
Funding through health insurance
The only insurance company that we work with directly is WPA. If you are with a different insurance provider, it may be possible for you to pay Little Bird Psychology and then claim the money back from your provider. A number of families under our service pay for sessions this way. It would depend on your particular policy, so it is worth checking with your provider whether they can offer this.
“I highly recommend Fran. She is a diligent, personable, highly skilled clinical psychologist.”
